Hi everybody, I'm having issures with my model 15 rear sight. Specifically, the windage adjustment. I've looked at the online owners manual but it's pretty vague. I should be able to adjust it with just my allen wrench no? And shouldn't it be indexed? It's not. Do I have to loosen the lock ring on the opposite side before? At this point, I have to loosen it with a flat tip screw driver, then move to the other side and adjust with the allen wrench, then go back and tighten down the lock ring. This can't be right so I'm sure something is a miss. I also noticed the allen head doesn't fit flush with the sight. It sits close to an 1/8" proud. The lock ring is catching a few threads but that's it. I'll try to up load a pic if I can get enough detail from an old 2.1 mp Sony. Thanks!

Nah-- all you SHOULD have to do is turn the allen screw.... lots of times they get locked up due to the extremely fine threads... check out this thread for more info.

Thanks Shoot! Very helpful. My adjustment allen head isn't flush with the sight. That's the first problem. It's looks like the role pin that keeps the assembly in the frame is really small. Smaller than my 1/16" inch punch. I might be able to repair it without removing the entire assembly. The threads on the adjustment screww are also pretty beat up. It would be nice to find a replacement but I might be able to coax this one back to life. Thanks again!!!
