How about this? Just brought it home from the local candy store. Fresh from their orphan bin. $225 and brought her home for a good scrubbing and a few shells to see how things worked. I'm well pleased. Will be looking for some "options" down the road and I've already shot a few emails off to Eric at EWK! I think this has a 1985-86 build date by running the numbers. It's a little rusty around some of the edges but then again, so is its OWNER!

I'm starting to feel some symptoms for sure. I took it out and put a box of shells through it, half 38 spl. and half 357 mags. It has been a LONG time since I shot anything other than a 9mm or smaller round. Forgot how LOUD these things can be!
I had to do some adjusting of the sights to bring it in where I wanted it. Now, I've just got to spend some time with it. I'm planning on getting another barrel for it, possibly a 6 or 8-inch. It's crazy, but all of the ones that I've seen lately are going for about the same price as what I paid for the gun! I'm thinking that waiting for Eric to get some of his back in stock might be the way to go. For now, the factory four-incher will have to do.

The gb stuff seems to be going crazy! Not sure when it will end or why the interest in DW's! You should be able to find a good BA of the length you want with out doubling your money into it! Great buy! Ear protection is a must for these try 2 of them firing at once awsome.

I felt the same way when I bought the 2.5" barrel for my 15-2.
BTW, nice find, looks great!!!

Thanks Guys!
I'm really liking it. I've been checking around and I think the price was good comparatively. I'd like to dig up another barrel for it but CZ wants about $375 for the 8-inch one. I'll keep my eyes peeled for one elsewhere. I'm sure it's great but, that's about 50% more than I paid for the gun!
It would surely be if I went that route!
Anyways, I can always invest in ammo.
thanks again!

I purchased an 8-inch barrel for my DW. I put it on and went to the range to try it out. I had heard that you need to sight in the gun again when changing the barrels. This was the first shot at about 10 yrds. Not too bad.
Sorry for the terrible cell phone picture. I didn't have my camera at the range.

Well, the saga continues! I did a tour of the local gun shops and just looked around. It was the first time that I'd set foot in several of these gun shops and I didn't have anything in particular that I was interested in. I found a box full of used grips (gotta love the used grip piles) so I started thumbing my way through it. Found a Pachmayer grip for my DW! I asked what they needed to have for it and walked out with it for $10!
They also had a 15-2 in the case with a 2,4 and 6-inch barrel for $500. They may take less for it, I don't know. Looked pretty good too. If I didn't already have a 4 and 8 inch barrel, this would be a pretty good deal, I think. It already had Pachmayer grips on it too.
Anyways, a good day without having to clean up any gunpowder.
