I have DW 357 with a 6" vented heavy barrel made in Monson, Ma.
I was wondering how I can date of manufacturer by the serial #?
I bought this gun new in the late 70's.

Mike, your a rare one. Since you bought your gun new you can help us by entering the date you bought the gun( or date of any paperwork, barrel wrapping, etc.) and the serial number in the registry. The BATF has swallowef all records and will not cough them up. Thanks, Ole Dog
