I'm looking for an original DW model 15-2 4" V4 shroud and I want to use the barrel from my CZ/USA 4" heavy barrel assembly. I'm assuming the DW original shroud should fit with the CZ/USA barrel. Correct? I'm trying to save a few hundred by not buying a complete barrel assembly.

Yes it should fit. I’ve never heard of newer CZ barrel tubes not fitting older shrouds.

Save money? The 4" barrel should be $110-120. The whole B/A is $190? Spend the extra $70. Shoot the new one, save the original shroud for display or appreciation.

A 2.5" 357 barrel assembly CZ sells is $190. The CZ 4" heavy barrel assembly I bought a couple years ago cost $300+. I can buy an original V4 shroud for $50--$60 that needs a bit of cold blue. The idea was to put the V4 shroud on instead of the heavy shroud I've got. So for 50-60 bucks I can have my V4 barrel assembly using the barrel I've already got $300+ minus $60 = $240 money saved.
