Hello everyone,
I have a DW 15-6 .357, looks like it was made in Monson, non-heavy lug model. It seems to have a weird intermittent issue. Occasionally, after firing, the gun will not cock via SA or DA for the next shot. It just seems locked up. To get it going again, I have to release the cylinder and slap it back in. At that point it seems to start working properly again. Anyone had this issue or know what would be causing this?
Thanks for your time,
Tom

First of all, Welcome to DWF.
Almost certainly your barrel gap is too tight. Possibly caused by:
1) Your 15-2 (not 15-6) likely has a cylinder face that is not square and true, not uncommon on DW revolvers. Check your barrel/cylinder gap on all six chambers, and set the gap to the tightest one. Factory spec is .006", you can gap as tight as .002" on the tightest chamber as long as your cylinder face is clean.
2) Second possibility is that your grip screw is tightened in too far, but my money is on #1.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
