It's been 30 years or so since I had my last DW 15-2 so I just can't remember.. are the cartridges supposed to rattle when the gun is moved around.

I noticed the empties would rattle some but the full loads (38spl) do as well.

this may be normal but like I said it's been a looonng time since I had a revolver.

thanks for any input,

Jim

That rattle is normal. Especially w/ 38 special rounds since they don't rest in the throat of the cylinder.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Thanks rwsem, I figured it must be normal but just never noticed it before.

This board is a great store of info for the DW crowd.

The ammo in all my revolvers rattle when jiggled front-to-rear, it's completely normal as Ron stated. If they don't rattle, that tells you your cylinder may need cleaning.lol2
