Here's a good thread about the gold series.
Your gun appears stainless but it may be the light. Stainless Gold Series are extremely uncommon. I read they were marketed mostly in Europe to compete with Korth, Manurhin, and Pythons. Mine came with a plastic case and smooth zebra. The rear sight has a white triangle. Some are marked Monson and others Palmer. They seem to date from 1991 to 1995.

Man, that gun has the same DWA grip medallions and an extremely consistent zebrawood pattern as the one in the thread the link refers to.
Is that the same gun that the experts said wasn't a gold series? (The serial #SD018028 is in one of the pics.) Apparently the true Gold Series' serial numbers start with 357...
I hope it isn't that phony, as the responses tend to show that the seller was misrepresenting the gun as a DW Gold Series because it has a GS shroud on a standard 715 frame.
