Picked this up for $350 the other day. Took it out shooting and the cylinder started to hang up. Brought the gun home and couldn't even get an .002 gauge between the barrel and cylinder. Will fix once the wrench get here just wondering if i got a good deal on the gun.10299373_10203307861634124_365479074_n.jpgImage Enlarger

Welcome to the forum, thats a good price for a nice 15-2. I'm sure a proper gap will fix it right up. Let us know how the next range trip goes.

$350 is more than a good price in my area--If I find one local under $450 its a miracle...and they are usually beat.

Aside from the cylinder hanging i was extremely surprised at how accurate the gun was. If it wasn't for that i would be trading it.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome, and thanks for ordering the wrench from me! As has been mentioned, best bet is to subscribe on the EWK Arms website to be notified when stock is good. There is more in the works, including some RH's.

Its a good deal you got on your Dan Wesson! I bought one quite reasonable like yours as it had the same problem-barrel gap was set too tight.

The current going rate for the vented light barrel in 8" is around $250, so actually you got the frame and grip for $100 and that's a steal.  The vent heavy barrels come up often on the various sites mentioned above, good luck and enjoy your DW.big-grin

Perhaps that is why you got a good deal. Fix the gap and it should be fine.
