There are NO stainless porkchops. Dan Wesson would not make a stainless gun and they were not introduced until 1983 I believe. Maybe late 82. What you saw must have been either nickel or aftermarket hard chrome. Nickel pork chops were made but dash 2 nickel are exceedingly rare and may not be factory nickel.
Factory nickel porkchops are fabulous guns if the nickel is in good shape. The plating on the inside frame and sideplate makes the trigger very smooth if there is no rust. If the hammer and trigger are nickel it is not factory.
