If it's a Palmer gun, it is one of only 25 that were made. I put my name on the IHMSA list the instant they advertised the 7414 for sale. Was very fortunate to get it, it is number 49. That was on Feb. 27, 1995. It came with a non-fluted cylinder, ETG serial number and the Hogue rubber grip.
I changed the Hogue for the Dan Wesson Combat Grip which I liked on my .357 SuperMag, and have shot this gun with the wood grip for most of it's time here. It's back in original configuration now.
Bet you'd love to pay this much for one today.
I know I said only 25 guns were made at Palmer, so why does mine have a 49 serial number? The first 1-25 of these were reserved for the Gates family, but they were never built.

Even still, they're worth more today than the $1,086.49; adjusting for inflation. I'm glad you promised that one to me Dean!![]()
I did?
I know I was in the hospital for cancer treatment. I don't think I was there for memory loss, but then, if I was, I probably wouldn't remember that. Hmmm.
