Can you send a revolver to DW to have it checked over and tuned up (if needed)?

What is the cost?

Landtoy,

You sure can send in your revolver for work at DW.  I have sent multiple ones in.  They will quote what you want once they receive it with your request.  They are very reasonable IMHO for their work.  Call them up and ask for Genny or Priscilla, Keith does the quoting and some of the work I believe.

Here's some recent discussion about a gunsmith that sounds pretty knowledgeable, but so far no one here has any actual experience with him. His website is pretty informative about what he does with DW's

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I won his services on GB auction, I'll report on his work when I get it back, it'll be nice to have some options for work on the DW's.

I currently have a revolver in the DW shop for repairs/updating.  They were great to work with on the shipping and call in very short order to provid a detailed, and reasonable, estimate.  Waiting for the return shipment to try everything out - but so far very pleased with the customer service.
