Not sure if you guys have noticed this yet or not, but it looks like CZ has priced most out of the revolver market again....hefty increase for 2017. For those of you who got your purchases in 2016, you can smile and be happy that you did.

Prices of nice pistol packs of older guns has taken a huge leap lately. When the market values an original pack more than the aggregate of the constituent parts all things Dan Wesson will go up. I think that is happening now. I guess Dan Wesson feels that less is more. Maybe all things made in America are going to go up in price. A trade off. Inflation in exchange for jobs and higher wages. Make America Great Again.

Anyone that wants to buy a CZ Dan Wesson revolver/Pack at MSRP, and is comfortable with the price, should do so.
Those who think they can do better in the used (original DW) marketplace should look there.
"Giant/Mega" CZ will make stainless DW revolvers, and eventually, someone will buy them. This is what makes the World Go Round!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Whoa yeah dang they did jump up quite a bit I'm just glad I picked up my Coonan when I did.
I saw the msrp the other day blew my mind!
But I have always wanted the new 715 to go with the Coonan they have similar looks to them and would look nice on the shooting table. ahhh someday some day....... lol
Also screw the pistol pack I want 4 guns not one gun and 4 barrels. hahahaha
Just kidding......
Who also wants to see a new caliber come out and what would you want to see I personally would like to see a 10 shot 722 or a 740 come down the pipes

Glad I got my 715 Pistol Pack for $1599, was the last one at Riflegear.com, hesitated for 2 hours debating spending that kind of $ after acquiring a mint 44mag Pistol Pack a 2 weeks earlier. Glad It was still there, wouldn't have bought one at $2k.
Congratulations on your purchase....Mine arrived Friday with cosmetic flaws on two of the shrouds. Spoke to Bob at DW and currently waiting for a shipping label to return for repair. Bob and Sean at DW were both very helpful.

Thanks Proco357,Congratulations to you as well. Mine also came with small nick on a couple of the shrouds. I haven't decided if they are worth really sending back?

You may want to reconsider. Why settle for anything less?

Shipped my Shroud's back to DW a week ago, hopefully they won't take too long to return them. Also, for anyone looking for a NEW 715 Pistol pack. Riflegear.com has 5 currently in stock at their Plano, TX location.
You were smart to only ship the shrouds. I shipped the whole kit at their request, only to find I had to regester it again through my FFL when it shipped back. Not sure if it's a state or federal law.
BTW Riflegear has raised the price 200 dollars

That is not correct. I'd send them a bill for the transfer fee you were charged....first paragraph in 27 CFR § 478.124. I doubt there is a state law that is contrary to the interstate shipment and receipt of the firearm but I could be wrong....what state are you in?
Any person may ship firearms directly to a licensee in any State, with no requirement for another
licensee to ship the firearm. However, handguns and other concealable firearms are not mailable
through the United States Postal Service and must be shipped via private common or contract
carrier ( 18 U.S.C. § 1715). The USPS and private common or contract carriers may also have
additional restrictions on firearms shipments by unlicensed persons. Firearms shipped to FFLs
for repair or any other lawful purpose may be returned to the person from whom received
without transferring the firearm through an FFL in the recipient’s State of residence. FFLs may
also return a replacement firearm of the same kind and type to the person from whom received
(18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(2)(A)). An ATF Form 4473 is required for the return of the firearm, except
in instances when a firearm is delivered to a licensee for the sole purpose of repair or
customizing, and the same firearm or a replacement firearm is returned to the person from whom
received (27 CFR § 478.124(a).

Thanks for that info. I LIVE IN PA. I only know what I was told by my FFL. I also was told the same thing from a dealer at this weeks past gun show. My local guy didn't charge me full price. Made it sound like he was doing me a favor not that he was required not to charge me????? I did fill out both forms and he ran my background just like the original purchase. Thanks again for your information. Next time I will know better.
