I recently had some time off. I spent some of that time visiting gun shops in my area primarily looking for DWs. I happened to stop at a pawn shop I had purchased a shotgun from previously. They had these two .357 DWs. I couldn't decide on which to get so....I bought both.
One is a 4" non-vented/non-heavy barrel. I'm not a big fan of 4" but my DW .22 has the same type barrel shroud. I don't see many without at least the vent.
The other is a 6" vent/heavy. This will be the one of the two I will use most. This one isn't in as nice of condition as the 4" (the bluing a bit dull).
The first hand gun I ever purchased was a vented 4 barrel pistol pac. That was back in the 80s. When I got back into fire-arms a few years ago I told myself I was going to stick with Dan Wesson's. Somehow I was lured by other brands. I am now going to try to stick with what I said I would do.
BTW, I did not pay the combined price listed on the tags for these. I feel I got a good package deal for them. The last pic includes my .22 (at the top). My best friend wanted in one the pictures. The 15 VH 6" came with one of the wood grips, the other my brother gave me. I switched it out for a plain Pachmarh that I had. The 4" came with the Pachmarh with the medallion.
Enough of my rambling, pics:

Perfect when you can make deal! Now to add a 44 to that group!
Yes sir! I was contemplating a .44 when I found these for just a wee bit more. I will consider my collection pretty much complete when I add a large frame (.41 or .44), an original/complete pistol pac and a pre-CZ Razorback. These are what I have left on my want list. If I find any other Dan with a price I can't pass up I'll probably add that too. Ya can't have enough!
