+1 on Ron's suggestion. You already admitted you can't stop.To answer your question, yes, you can swap a .41 cylinder , but it would have to be done by a fabulous smith or the factory. The threads on the barrels are different and you would need a new cylinder fitted with a new hand, I believe. The shroud would not have the .41 roll mark unless you spent big bucks to buy a matching shroud. What Ron suggested would be cheaper. Now , a .22 mag. is a different story, right Ron. Same barrel and hand and far rarer.

Get on over to gunbroker, there is a 41 mag with two barrels listed right now with a decent BIN. May need some bluing but still not a bad $.
