Bought it with wife's blessing and some of her money. She thought it was beautiful even though she's not a revolver person. I'm a 44mag fan...and even a bigger 2A fan, never been an engraved gun fan, but this one is certainly an exception. Photos don't really do the gun justice for sure.

Absolutely stunning! If there is any documentation that provides a date/year of manufacture, I'd like to add that to the Serial Number Registry.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Man, that's a real beauty & too!
One of these days, I will buy a DW Commemorative. It will either be a Constitution one, or a 2nd Amendment variety. I like the blued/gold combo like yours, versus the all gold one.

Thank you all. I'm very happy with the purchase. For the time being, it will be kept unfired. I did cut the tag and strap around the cylinder and trigger guard which said something along the line of if they were present, it meant the gun was unfired. I didn't really care about that those, having tags hanging on the gun just makes the gun looks like it's for sale.
Steve CT, what's the SN registry and what is it used for? I don't have any documentation on the year this one was made, but I saw somewhere that it's between 1991 and 1992 (can't find the reference now though).

This is actually my 5th DW , but definitely will be more. The next one will definitely be a 445 Supermag.
