Maybe from the lack of what you've been hearing, you thought I gave up. Nope, I've been working away, here are some pics. (New camera in action!) laugh

As it stands now, I have a limited number of EH barrel assemblies available, and I have listed one set on GB. Will put some up on the EWK website tomorrow too hopefully.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=223903678

May be confusing, but decided to change the EPC name to EH as it makes more sense (Extra Heavy)

Still have one little hang up on barrel production which I am hoping to have taken care of around the end of this week.

Gunbluer (Mark Waldo) is helping out and has done the polishing and bluing on the shrouds and some of the other parts.

Mark also has or should be getting a VH shroud to see what he can do on the finishing end of things. Had to make some changes as the first one I sent him wouldn't work out to finish in a cost effective manner. I am optimistic the one process I used will work for him!

Trying to get a .22 stamp so we can do .22 shrouds, and the biggest thing, the barrel tooling to make .22 barrels, I am hoping to get something going there. I ordered the tooling from one company and its been on order since January.

Also planning on getting some stainless ordered so we can get some S.S. shrouds rolling. Also large frame shrouds are high on the list, and I hope to get some of those going soon. $$$$$$$$$, so any purchases will of course be appreciated and go to the cause of making it happen! laugh

Plus stayed tuned for more cool DW goodies!!!

Thanks!

Eric

Those are all awesome! Darn, wish I could afford them all, cause now I have to decide which one not to pick! This is definitely going to be a tough choice. EWK, you are the man worship

Thats great news Eric!!

Those definately look handsome.. I assume that hot-bluer did them. they look very polished. I think you made a very good choice on NOT including ther Fo sight, as that should be an extra cost option ( though I got mine for free).  I still love my 6".

As for the name change.. I am good with that thought you really should consult with us... it should be EEH  EWK Extra Heavy!!!!!

Even if you don't get SS shrouds going fast, some SS barrels should be good sellers.

PS: I am having 250 .357's made up so I can really feel how the EH barrel behaves under load.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

I was hoping to update the website with some for sale, but it looks like I don't have enough good barrels to do so after cleaning and inspecting them this morning. yell

The barrels I have aren't bad, but I like to offer the best possible. Still, if you're willing give them a shot, and I know you guys are anxious, laugh you can purchase a barrel assembly at a reduced rate that reflects a pidly $10 for the barrel and I will refund that $10 if you aren't happy. How can you go wrong? laugh

Anyway, with the so-so barrels I have

6ea 6" assemblies at $135 ea

2ea 4" assemblies at $110 ea

PM or e-mail me if you'd like one.

Thanks!

Eric

Those are looking good!  I'll be coming that way in a few weeks so I'm hoping the offer for a shop tour is still open!

I think I have all PM's replied to, except Charger Fan's, clicking the reply button today and yesterday did not yield any success! I may have missed some of you since something doesn't seem quite right with the PM system, so if I did, sorry about that, and please try again!

Looks like pretty much all the so-so barrels have found a home. Got some "good" barrels started last night, so hopefully we'll have those soon!

Pinetor, yep, you are right on with hot-bluer finishing them! Good point on checking with you guys, when we put out heads together we can come up with some good ideas! dwf-sign

Rod, I thought I had more 2.5" barrels then I seem to be finding, but should have lots of them in a couple weeks. laugh

Jody, sure thing, you are more than welcome to come out! And anyone for that matter! laugh

Where can I get a 8-10" barrel and shroud for my 15-2 with VH with a twist rate capable of handling the heavier bullets?
