Hey yall,
Real noobie here. I'm about to buy my first DW revolver (model 15-2) from my local gun dealer. It's currently outfitted with a 4" barrel, but I was considering getting a 6" or longer for hunting and a 2"/2.5" for cc. I've heard that the products over at EWK arms are really nice quality while not breaking the bank, but I have also heard that they no longer sell the shroud/barrel kits, and when visiting their website I'm hard pressed to find the barrel assemblies anywhere on the site! I'm not too sure how all this works, if anyone could give some advice on where to buy shroud/barrels for a monson era 15-2 DW revolver!
Thanks so much in advance! 😀

EWk makes reallly nice stuff.
but if you just want an OEM BA in 6" and 2 1/2", the CZ webstore has them,
http://shop.cz-usa.com/dw-products/revolver/barrels-shrouds/357-magnum
I would also surf ebay, believe it or not ebay tends to have them often, sometimes pricey sometimes a great deal can be found

Last time I heard from Eric, more BA's should be available spring/summer, something like that.
I ordered a blued 2.5 from CZ and while it does get the job done, it does not match my Monson made Dan. Much regret.
I say contact Eric here or through his site, usually gets back to people in a day or two.

Don't use the cz-usa site. CZ people don't understand, know about or care about DW stuff.
Call DW in Norwich, NY.
Rats, I'm no help. I can't remember the number, but it is Ext. 21 for parts.
Someone here will remember the number.
Sorry, my parts list is still not unpacked from the move. That's where the number is.

Eric does DW (and other brand) products as a sideline/labor of Love. His primary business and livelihood is tool and die and contracted production work. When he can do DW work, he does so with the expectation of selling the inventory at some point in time. Most of his DW stuff sells out pretty quickly.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have also ordered Barrels and Shrouds from DW, Shawn is friendly and helpful. They are Laser engraved, so that does not "match" the roll marks of the older Dans but I still think they look great and shoot great. I have only gotten parts from EWK and they are excellent as well. I have also purchased barrels from E-bay and they have all been fine. You will most likely be looking at $200+-$300 for the barrels and shrouds of the more common sizes and calibers.
