I got home early due to about 6 inches of snow when I saw the mailman go down the road I went out to check the box there it was a box of RH barrel assem. and shrouds! I just finished changing stuff over on two pistols Fantastic workmanship!I hope Eric does another run of prepaid orders! I will be right back in it !

Ayin, From about Nov. 2013 to January 2014 I was accepting "custom built orders" for Dan Wesson barrels and shrouds for delivery on or before April 1st. Before I was attempting to stock them, and it seemed hard to have what people wanted. Going forward, not sure what I will be doing as I have seen there are pros and cons to both methods. I will have some extras I made up in the custom batch available from stock likely sometime in April.

I would be really, really interested in knowing what extras you have. Honestly, I didn't even know you existed until a few weeks ago, and I had no idea that it was remotely possible to get new barrels for my DW's.
In particular, I would be interested in a shorter barrel and shroud for my .357 SuperMag. But I'm also interested in small frame stuff.
So when you know what you've got, and what you want, please say something!

I was advised by my mail gatherer up there in the US of A that my box from Eirc arrived today. But it will be a few weeks till I get to pop it open and mount the goodies.
I also order stuff from DW Parts. Have at least 4 cylinders I ordered to do some "custom" work with. Certain parts like cylinders and internal frame parts have to be ordered through a FFL. But common barrels, sights, shrouds can be easily had.

Kudos to Eric! Just got my 8"RH barrel in the mail. Quick swap so I could get a feel for it. Now off to LGS to find scope mounts to mount the 1.5 to 6. Then range time! Pictures to follow.

You would be amazed at what I don't know about DWs. I did not know that new barrels and shrouds were still being made. I'll definitely look into it.
Having said that, I've taken a look at the EWK web site, and his stuff is just cool. Unbelievable!

The extras I have out of this custom batch are mainly .357 Mag, a good bit of .44 Mag, and a tiny bit of .22LR.
Right on, depending on what you want, there are three options-CZ/Dan Wesson, along with the used market, and me/EWK Arms.
I don't cover everything, the .357 Max. is one I am not currently offering barrel tubes for (but unmarked shrouds I've did for 'em) but may in the future.
