I was looking at this gun all week being a first issue. I never had one but it seemed to have little interest. Thought I was going to steel ir at $1025 but last seconds out bid but I came back and still got it for $1250. No CC fee helped so under $1400 with tax. Gun had a mark on side I hope it can be polished out but overall it looks pretty good I think. AND ITS A FIRST ISSUE! The best thing is the door knob tool can be sold for over $200 and the other tool is for a factory compensated barrel may be worth $100 so I could bring my cost down to $1100. Also it has what I think is a LB grip also worth some cash. I may put a factory grip on it but what was a factory grip for this gun? I'm a so happy! Now still on to a pork chop.

You did great, the grip on it is a Hogue, if you want some other grip options I have several let me know

Yes, a Hogue. But you snagged a nice one. I love Norwich First edition guns. I was watching it but I have too many 44 mag Dans already. Haven't shot one in years. When I thin the herd the First Issue guns will be the last to go.
My new kick(I am running out of new guns to collect) is S&W Performance Center steel semi auto pistols. Target Champions, Shorty 9s and 40s, and 356TSW among others. It all started with DWAS but it has spread to my lymph nodes. 🙄 🤣. Thankfully it is not terminal. Unfortunately, there is no end to firearms to be had. And some, like Dans, require several of each. Could be worse. I could have a Python addiction.

I was going to jump in @ 1050, but just bought 560 rounds of Remington 357 MAX ammo. So, April budget is spent.

Pics are off the computer screen., will take real ones when it's delivered. I think this gun originally came with 2 barrels one compensated. Funny thing is one sold on ebay for over $600 I was bidding on it now I wish I had raised my bid. I also think the original grip was a rubber one like on the 715 Norwich guns. If you want the wench we can do a deal maybe you have something I want like a Palmer supermag manual? Now it's on to a pork chop I'm bidding on a nice one this week! I changed my GB user name to stmstan445 so you all know who I am. I think we should come up with a way that members don't run each other up. I know I will not try to one up the older members here if I know who they are but at this point I only know who one is. I think revolverguy is but not sure. F.Y.I. I already bid high on the pork chop from Buffalo Gap please let me have that one!
