So please forgive me if this has been posted somewhere already, and if it has just point me in that direction;
I've been looking for a DW revolver locally for a while now, and just yesterday was given a couple leads to finding one. I really like the look of the new EWK barrel shroud, so I want to make sure I buy a 15-2. Well... how do I know if I'm looking at a 15-2 and not one of the other models?
Thanks for the help!

To answer your question: if the gun is a Dan Wesson, and is .38/.357 and has side plate screws ( thus is not a large frame) and does not have a barrel configuration with an extended bottom tang (aka porkchop) and has an internal barrel nut .... you have a Model 15 /15-2.

in that order.

Just found a 715 with 8" vented barrel. Some wear on the finish, but otherwise a pretty solid looking gun. If I had the budget for two DWs I think I would've picked this one up. At least I found one, but on to the next place!
