Welcome to the forum from PA. Nice score! I don' think it's the first one made but It certainly was a custom serial number. I have a few of those myself. We have a member Harly, bet he'd be interested iy this. Good job on the pics and thanks for sharing with us. Maybe somone will chime in with more info.

Thanks for the welcome, I am a small firearms dealer 30 mins south of Norwich NY. The guy selling it was a friend of Bob S. I thought I share see if I could get a little more info on the firearm. It was built end of 1998. I thought it was a beauty and would share. I been reading these forums for a little but never joined.

Certainly a very nice and interesting pistol! Given the combination serial name/number, I'm curious what the barrel shroud mark is? All the other first issue shrouds I have seen came with the last digits of the serial number included in the First Issue cartouche. Is this one number 1 on the shroud?

Definitely not the first one made in the Norwich building, but quite possibly an early one, judging from the etching on the shroud. Pretty neat nonetheless.
I have a teensy hunch that a certain forum member may be PM'ing you soon with an offer to buy.
