I have made one trip to the range with my 32 magnum. I shot it with the rcbs 98 gr. simi wad cutter and a lyman 311241 that weighs right at 150 grains. i worked up the load with the lyman bullet with surplus 680 powder which is supposed to be the same as 1680. Now i know there is no book load for a bullet this heavy but it extracted easily and showed no pressure signs. I shot the rcbs bullet for accuracy but just shot the lyman bullet to make sure it was safe. the heavy bullet will print 1.5 inch groups in a good day with my home made rifle at 100 yards. So far groups have been about what i get with my ruger bisley in this caliber. I havent had time to work up any loads yet other than what i had loaded for the ruger. i will post more when i find out how this revolver shoots. so far i have only tried the 6 inch blr. but after i get it tested i will put on the 4 inch blr. and put it through the same process. I was surprised that the cylinder was long enough for the heavy bullet. Like i said above this is a load that i have shot a lot in my home made shotgun to rifle conversion. The Dan has a long cyl. and is about the strongest revolver on the market. I would never try a heavy bullet in my Ruger bisley as it is biilt on a small frame. So far i have only shot a few of these heavy bullets in the dan as i have no way of knowing what pressure they are. i am loading it with surplus 680 powder with is the same as aa1680 and was intended for the 7.62x39 cartridge. there are no high pressure signs like sticky extraction flattened primers etc. The velosity from my rifle is just over 1000fps which is fairly powerful for a small cartridge like this. joe gifford aka argie1891
