As I said in my Intro message 'Another New Member from Arizona' my friend lent me his Dan Wesson 357 after we went out shooting and I told him I would like to try getting a couple parts it was missing.
I came here looking for parts info and followed the advice to call Dan Wesson CZ in New York for the parts. I got the new cylinder stop and side plate screw within a couple weeks. I followed advise I found here and mounted the cylinder stop with some Red Loc-tite. It worked great.
Here is a photo of the gun I took as I was testing it and doing some sight adjustment.
So, the good part is it worked out great and my friend was very happy with the gun when I returned it.
The bad part is I caught myself thinking about selling a couple of my Smith & Wesson revolvers to finance a Pistol Pack!
Uh oh, sounds like a virulent strain of DWAS. A pistol pack right off the bat! I saw my first Pack, unfired, for $1300. Went back to buy it and it had sold for 900. That was a little over 3 years ago. How about keeping a couple of your favorite Smiths and turning the rest into Dans. Welcome to the forum You will have loads of fun. Let us know when you get your first Dan.

Maybe I shouldn't be thinking Pistol Pack since I really just want a nice shooting gun and a couple extra barrel length options. I see a local ad for a DW with 4" & 6" barrels for $850.
Might as well go for the 2-1/2 and 8, it's only 2 more barrels. Go for the pack, you know you want to... Jedi- " Your not happy with two barrels, you want 4", welcome to the dark side!

I can see myself using 4" 6" and 8", but probably not anything else. If I'm going to go that far I may end up spending enough to get a Pistol Pack anyway though.
You know you want to do it! Everybody wants to do it. I just did it and I'm ready to do it again!shoot tomorrow!
I have Smiths, and Dans, I generally shoot the Dans. They are that much better!
