Mark of Blue Ridge Bluing (http://www.blueridgebluing.com/) has decided to sell his 745 that was made while his B-in-L (Bob Serva) and he worked at Dan Wesson.
He told me the gun has maybe 50 at most fired, has a holster for it and maybe still has box but he's not sure. Mark said he wanted $1500 for the gun, and that's out of my price range currently and I didn't try to haggle even though that's the one supermag I've wanted.
I have a custom DW RZ10 that Keith is finishing up for me or I would have jumped, but that took most all my gun money I have saved. Think my gun money is only up to about $600 so I wasn't close enough to even try buying the gun.

I figure if anyone interested they could go to his website and either email or call him for further info. I'm just doing the guys here a favor and letting them know a classic is up for sale. If I'd had $1200 stashed this posting would not be happening. But as usual most of the time for me, I'm either a day late or dollars short.

That's actually not a SuperMag, but is still very desirable large frame nonetheless.
Thanks for the heads-up, Waldo. For you members, although this one may be priced higher than some...as a buyer, I would try to include as much of it's history & original paperwork as possible in the deal, as part of this gun's (already interesting) pedigree.
I suppose seriously interested buyers will weigh their perspective finances, then give their "interweb" sleuth abilities a run. Who knows, this one may even require an old fashioned phone call to complete the deal. Let's see someone bring this home to the...

I had thought the 745 was a 45 LC magnum, and had a chance to buy a shooter that was $500 several years ago but passsed because didn't want another caliber to reload. Wow, what a goof up.
Yesterday I was told by Mark it's just a longer cased 44 Magnum. Now I'm really will be chasing one down next year, because of using same bullets and dies as the 44 Magnum.
Hard to believe it's 44 caliber, sounds like it should be 45 caliber like 45 Colt.

You know now I think about it I think he did say 7445, he did say it was 44 magnum with longer case. So that would make it a supermag I would think.
But I will say what a confusing way to name guns, for me at least.
