Was out shooting with my brother in law with my DW 44 and 445 and he told me about a couple of Dans for sale on calguns, he said they have been there a few days now.
when I got home I took a look and found them about 5 pages back and saw a few people had made offers, I sent the guy an email and he called saying he wanted to sell both together so I made him an offer and he said they are yours.
If he doesn't back out I pay for them next Monday and then 11 days later I can pick them up.
the 357 looks very nice but not used much, the 375 comes with IHMSA brass and dies original box and most paperwork including box sleeve, no flame cutting on top strap, looks very lightly used.
will post some pics if he doesn't back out, very rare find here in California.
may oldest grandson likes wheel guns but will need a few more years to handle the big Dans.
he loves my 357s and old SAA in 38-40.

Just got a call from the guy with the guns, he marked them as sold and pulled the ad from calguns.
this will complete supermag collection unless a 414 in blue shows up in California.
will get pics posted Monday when I get home from doing the transfer.
now for the brass search for the 375, have a couple hundred for the 357 already.

I closed the deal today on the two big Dan's. Now they have to cure for 10 days at the FFL by California law before I can pick them up.
they think your buying the guns to go out and shoot someone so they won't let you have it for 10 days even if you have 100 more at home. Oh well waited a long time to find a nice 357 & 375sm and to get them at one time is great.
very nice guy that I bought them from who is a big Dan Wesson collector and will probably be visiting here soon.
Sorry no pics, computer crashed, have to get a new one. Can't figure out how to post pics on this iPad.
Now to find a nice blued 414😀

I hope you understand that buying two handguns in one day gets you on the National "possible bad guy" registration list. You really might consider picking them up from the FFL more than 5 days apart. Most FFLs don't like to do it because it puts them on the same list as possible bad sellers.
Anybody know the details on this?
