Answer is Yes, same sight. Sights and the Front Sight Setscrew are available from CZ/DW.
And thanks for asking, when I checked my son's 44 to be sure, I just discovered that he has the ported barrel, I had never noticed before.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hey Steve,
All of my 44 Monson shrouds were ported even though the some of the barrels weren't.
Sam, here is a link to DW's contact info:

This is actually a ported barrel too. I have never had this one apart, it passed thru my hands very quickly, and haven't had it out since it came back into my "guardianship"

First Sam, let me welcome you in case I haven't in another thread.
Second, you can almost always fine spare sight blades on both GunBroker and eBay. Both the blade and the set-screw are the same for all DW's beginning with the 15-2. You may even be able to purchase a replacement set screw at your local ACE Hardware since you don't live in CT where there doesn't seem to be an ACE Hardware. ( Steve)
Third, Jody is right; all of the shrouds for the .44 Magnum made in Monson were ported. However, very few of the barrels were ported. That was usually an option requested by the customer. Mine were purchased later when I discovered what the ports were for. The porting doesn't help with muzzle rise in any appreciable, or possibly detectable, way and the cleaning chore is a PITA.
