Hi all, It was a normal night, not unlike any other night except I decided to stop & look at the homeless firearms at the pound. Low & behold this cute little Dan Wesson jumped up at me rubbing her muzzle on the glass. She looked so adorable. It was love at first sight. I asked the pound keeper for a look-see. She looked great, had all her shots (pardon the pun) wasn't abused & apparently trained. I decided to take her home.
Ok Ok long story short. On consignment from original owner with papers. Hardly shot. A stainless 744V, original case with keys slightly scratched like most, all the normal stuff, manual, barrel wrench, buckle, patch, gauge, extra front sights, with a 8″ & 6″ ported barrel & shroud plus another 8″ & 6″ unported barrels still in the paper wrap.
The wraps on the extra barrels which were purchased with the gun says April 1979,
744V # SB00xx59. I thought I read a thread about judging selling dates by the paper wraps with the pistols. Well anyway that's all she wrote. Oh yeah I picked her up for $700.00. Just a few DW's more to go & maybe I'll be happy.

Clearest case of GTDW we've seen in a while. I'd have fractured something trying to grab for my wallet fast enough to buy that one
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
