Can anyone direct me to a genuine DW 6 inch HV assembly for sale?

I'd prefer to buy one but would consider trading the 8 inch HV.

VH Barrel Assemblies are often listed on eBay or GunBroker so I would check those sites out.

Just a bit of "caveat emptor" (buyer beware):

1) These are probably not "roll marked", more likely laser etched

2) A fair amount of "let me know when it's available", probably means that they may actually make them someday

3) Trust nothing from the "CZ" site, they are the people who brought "blems" into the marketplace at close to MSRP. If you want the real info, call the folks in Norwich.

As I read my response, I know it seems negative, and I don't mean for this to be so. CZ/DW has done a great job with 1911's, building a premiere "Factory Custom" brand. The current handgun market is autoloader intensive, and the 1911 market is very hot. CZ/DW is a big name in this market, they just don't seem to understand the revolver market.

It would be very easy for them to turn this around by going very aggressively into the big bore/SuperMag business, and making that into the "1911" of the revolver market. There IS money to be made in higher priced quality revolvers in calibers larger than .38/.357, and the DW large frame revolver is the perfect entree into this $1000+ arena. The new 715 is not.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

What caliber and roll mark are you looking for?  And what condition?  I think I have a "Shooter grade" that could use a reblue in 357.
