I tried to post pics but the site said I was doing something "suspicious".
I think it doesn't like them pasted in maybe...
An almost complete DW 15-2 VH pac in original case. Missing only the buckle, patch and manual.
Even had the spare sight blades. All barrels were very good except the 2.5" which is scratched and the blueing worn.
I suspect that isn't original since the frame shows zero wear or rubbing.
Best yet I snagged it for $1500.
The serial starts with "171" which I couldn't find in the lookup. Any ideas?
It has the short heavy serrated hammer so I'm thinking 70's.

Not sure why the site was giving you grief for trying to post pics. Maybe file size or something.
That's a great looking Pac, congrats! You may want to pull the lower foam out, in case the manual is under there. The last Pac I bought, had a bunch of stuff under there. Regarding your S/N beginning in 171, that build date is probably around 1977. Ole Dog may need to adjust my guess a little.

I took the cloth out and tried twice to get the stains out.
Succeeded mostly - looks a lot better.
Under the foam was of all things a single .357 round and two rods from an M-16 cleaning kit.
The jag and the rods are all mild steel which I don't care what they say, not using it on my barrels.
