I bought the frame & BA's along with a few other things from Dan Fan.
I used one of my cases,buckle,patch,sights and Pac grip.
This probably is not how it came originally however I am happy.
I am debating selling or trading the ported barrels to get a 2.5 " BA

Congrats. Beautiful pack. My friend inherited a DW .357 with assorted barrels from an Uncle that passed away. The RCMP made him surrender the 2.5 and 4"barrels [i believe lengths are correct] or jump thru hoops for a Prohibited Firearms License. Gun laws in Canada are painful.

Keep the ported barrels but buy a 21/2" BA. But only if you can find a rare Monson made shroud. IMHO. You are correct, they did not come that way from the factory but it is special. A factory pack had just 6 and 8 " BAs and the extra ported barrels.

I have a request in to EWK for a 2.5 BA with the proper roll mark, but will have to wait for about a year.
I am on the look out for a original but I dont have my hopes too high.
