I acquired a Zebrawood grip for my 15·2 and it is slightly different from my 2 walnut grips. The working grip is on the left. The notched area is not present on the zebrawood grip and prevents it from seating fully. Is this Zebrawood grip possibly for a different frame?  It looks like I could modify it but I didnt want to proceed and discover it might still having an issue.20140222_210156-1.jpgImage Enlarger

There are only two real models of grips -- round hole for large frame and square holes for small frames (Hogue wood is exception)....  However, not all grips seat equally.  I have quite a few grips and some of them seat/fit much better than others--sometimes I go through a lot of grips to find one that blends into the frame well.

How far off the frame are we talking?  can you take another pic of zebra on frame for us...

You got it.The grip is the right one it just needs a little final fitting. Most likely shrinkage over the years has changed the tolerances just enough to cause the issue.
