I JUST LOGGED ONTO THE SIGHT FOR  HOGUE GRIPS (WWW.GETGRIP.COM) THEY STILL SHOW GRIPS FOR BOTH THE SMALL AND LARGE FRAME DAN WESSON REVOLVER. THEY SHOW A FINGER GRIP IN RUBBER PLUS A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER WOOD GRIPS. THE RUBBER ONES ARE OF COURSE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GRIPS GIVE THEM A LOOK SEE. HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY GET YOU SOME FOR CHRISTMAS. THAT WAY YOU CAN LET SOMEONE ELSE PAY FOR IT. HA HA.

Isn't that the Hogue website,  Yes it is.....

I ordered large frame wood from Hogue and it took about 4 months to come in, but worth the wait.  In the mean time, you can buy them from GunBroker, Ebay or of course other sites like Midway, MidSouth shooting supply etc.....  Much faster because they have them in stock, and hogue only makes them when they feel like it.

Welcome to the DWF.

I have had Hogue custom make two grips for me.  I both cases I chose to pay the extra $35.00 to have someone hand select the wood.  That makes for a very expensive grip but worth every penny.  I did this because I wanted something very specific in both cases.  BTW, each of my grips from Hogue was made in about 6 weeks.

However, you can save a bunch of money and get a beautifully made, top quality grip from our own member LB.  See the link in the right hand column.  To date I only have one of his grips but more are definitely going to be ordered in the future.  He really does fabulous work and one of his grip styles is very close to the Hogue style.  Check it out.
