Great find!  Like playing w/ an adult Mr. Potato head; different character with every change, gotta love it.

Holy Cow !!! $90.00. Surprised

Was that an online find or somewhere in person? I'd love to pick up a good 6" barrel and shroud for $90.00, let alone all the extra goodies…

Found it in a old gun store.  I asked the owner if he had any Dan Wesson stuff and he disapeared into the back for 15 minuets and came out with the barrel.  He has more barrel wrenches and grips.   I also found a pawn shop that has a box of grips.  Some times looking in the bargin bins and digging through boxes of unsorted stuff yields results.Smile

Good to ask every place you go. I have gotten barrels, grips, front sights, etc. Mox-ct picked up a nice 44 Pistol Pack (I think) from Cabela's at an outrageous price, not on display, just sitting around in back!

One place I go to greets me at the door with either "nothing new" or "got one you can look at". Another place calls me if they get something in.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes, the 44 pistol pac was at Cabelas for a really good price too.  I asked in their gun library.  Also, a good friend steered me in the direction of a nice model 15 for under $290.  That was also a great deal.  I know where their are two 44s.  One with a long barrel and scope is $550 while another one is $750, same gun shop.  I never asked, but the $750 one might have accessories that go with it.....  Also went to an outdoor outfitter in Old Saybrook, CT and found a 745 for (I think) under $450, I bought that one.  Nice gun too.
