How hard is it to change the hammer spring on the large frame DW Iam getting light strikes and some do not go offproud-to-be-an-american

before you flat out replace the spring, have you tried backing off the grip screw?

 

Changin it out is not at all bad, IF you follow the directions on the average joe tune up.

I fill like a dummy sure enough I put a couple of lock washers on the grip screw and it works fine thanks Pinetor!proud-to-be-an-american
