Hi!I agree with LB, looks to be stainless from the picture. Does the serial number have a S in the front if so then it would be stainless steel model 715 6"VH, the 7 denotes that it is stainless steel, monson, mass model .357ctg. If there is no S in the serial number then it is a 15-2 with 6"VH barrel from Monsom, Mass. hope that helps.

hi it was blued then polished back to stainless, yes im pretty sure the side plate has 2 screws i will double check and take some more photos and upload..i did not come with any wrench gauge or grips..also do you know what size frame is it? i am looking to buy a grip for it, is it the small frame?

If it was blue to start, it did not get polished back to stainless, it got polished back to white. It is not corrosion resistant stainless steel, it is bare metal
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
