I don't want to sound redundant but I just acquired a Dan Wesson that I believe is a 14-2 but on the serial number page on here the serial number is smaller than the ones posted, could someone please , hopefully give me a little help, it has the fixed sights, 2 inch barrel and no model number, Serial number is 6657X. As soon as I can figure out how to post a picture I will. Thanks a million.

A picture will help but it sounds like a 14 or 14-2, maybe an 11; is it a porkchop or straight shroud, blued or stainless?  I assume you've been here:  https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/revolvers/what-model-do-i-have-start-here/  if not that should help.

Model 14-2, and from the serial number it's a very early manufacture, about 1976 I'd guess.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I think that is one of the lowest serial #s I have seen on a 14-2. I own #736XX. Yours looks like it is nice shape.
