A good friend has just inherited a handgun collection from his father who very recently passed, and intends to sell off a few of the guns. Besides helping him identify and price those guns, I am one of the potential buyers. I am fairly knowledgeable with S&W and Colt revolvers, but I need some expert help with the Dan Wesson revolvers he wants to sell. I cannot find much info online, and want to provide him with current fair values. Here are the DWs that we would like to know more about...model no., date of manufacture, current value. Thanks in advance.
Dan Wesson .22 6" bbl., original box; s/n is 4519
Dan Wesson .357 Magnum, Model 15-2 (?), 6" bbl., original box; s/n 83647
Dan Wesson .357 Magnum, Model 14-2 (?), 4" and 2-1/2" bbl., 2 sets of grips, original box; s/n 164604

+1 on gunbroker.com The two pictured have an excellent finish with just a hint of dragline on the cylinder.
They appear to be earlier models, but if you research the Serial# Registry here, you can narrow it down.
Now if the 22 Pac were a 22 Mag Pac, then you would have an uncommon treasure!

Lets see a pic of the 22 PAC! That's the gun worth the most even if it's a long rifle. They can bring over 2K in good condition! Nice guns though I would say $750 to 900 for the blue 357 mag and the stainless more plus the extra barrel $1300 maybe. The market is very down for regular 15-2 357 magnums their is a ton of them out there for sale! Good luck! You can also try Guns International to sell your guns it's only $20 to list a gun and no % and you don't have to mess around with collecting tax like on Gunbroker!

Thanks for the feedback, I did narrow down some DOMs and current prices for my friend's liquidation sale.
As a reward for my research on the collection he inherited, my buddy sold me the 6" blue DW Model 22 for $600. It's an early Model 22 (s/n 4519; 1979) in excellent condition with the original box and .22 barrel tool. I'll get it out to the range soon. He also sold me an NIB 1973 S&W 6" Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman for $600. But that's for another Forum.
