If I remember correctly SHOOT got a 22 Pac for around $500 as well but that might have been last year.

That's kind of a cool grip...overpriced IMO, but cool.
The pics are pretty dark, but it appears to be sort of half checkered & half engraved. First I've seen one like that.

Well if it's a custom one of a kind or at least less then 50 of a kind with the period box it is easy worth the bucks to a collector. I have almost bought it a couple times, but just can't see buying it for a shooter. But if I had a box set, I would have bought it some time ago when I frist saw the grip. It's been up for long time and I sent the guy a $50 offer couple months ago and he passed. You might try the $50 offer again and see what he says.
