For small frame Dan's I prefer Pachmyr Grippers or the Dan Wesson factory wood grips with checkering.

For large frame Dan's I really like the Hogue finger groove rubber grips, great control and recoil management, also they angle fits my hand and forearm geometry perfectly.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Got the new Hogue Grips today. They are not exactly what I thought I was getting. But I like em very much.

The Factory ones in the photo. Well simply put, they stink.

The new ones just feel so good and it just feels so much more natural pointing now toodan-wesson-new-grips.JPGImage Enlarger

. Have not Fired it yet to see how control is, but maybe this weekend. Thanks

That IS different!

I think the single finger groove will do the job though. The tip cap & white line spacer is nice!

Thanks

Yes the extra finger groove would have been nicer maybe. But I do like the wood butt cap and spacer as a "compromise" so to speak. It was a stock photo when I ordered. But the model numbers I was told, was this grip.

I did find something out. There sure are alot more Large Frame DW grips out there for sale than small frame ones.  Wander why?
