I picked up a shoulder/chest holster today for my DW448V. Diamond D Custom Leather of Wasilla, AK, had it in their closeout sales. I took my gun in to make sure it'd fit right. Perfect fit.
I asked about its closeout status and she told me she'd pulled it off the normal shelf because it hadn't been sold for a long time and had darkened a bit. Doesn't bother me at all!
When the nice lady helping me picked up my gun she decided the shoulder strap was a little light (soft?) for such a heavy revolver and changed it out for a stiffer piece of leather. Nice service!
There is nothing on the label to note V or VH but this holster fits the V perfect. They had a hip holster with a 1/2 flap for 8" and it had a much bigger barrel slot for the VH.
I asked about getting a pair of hip holsters to fit my 4" and 6" shrouds and she said they'd be happy to make them up if I "sent" in an order with exactly what style of DW shrouds I have.

Love the Diamond D leather. I have a Guide Series Holster for my Bruin 10mm. Great hunting holster. Need to get 4 more for my other DWs.
