I upgraded my 744 to a 6” V barrel and would appreciate some holster suggestions.
Would something sized for an N frame work?
Preferably leather but would consider kydex...no nylon please.

Thanks

Diamond D leather in Wasilla, AK. makes a fine holster AND they know what Dan Wessons are!  I don't have any of their hip holsters yet, but one is high on my wants list.  I like the idea of having a partial flap to protect that nice DW blue!  I do have a chest rig for a 44 8V.  The Wife's S&W 329 rides in their chest rig.  We both like their leather.

Anyone know of a holster maker, for the M15 6"? Diamond D leather in Wasilla, AK, apparently only makes one style, and it's not what I'm looking for.

I found this thread on DWF, I didn’t read all of it, but after a quick scan it looked like it may help you:

Be sure to let us know what you decide to buy and how you like it.

Ruger GP 100 holsters fit as well as , or better than S&W "N" frames.

Particularly with the lugged "V-H" barrels. It's mostly because of the differing lug shapes.

The "Galco" web site has some holsters sized for DWs, has anyone have experience with them?

Tagua from holster world on eBay has some DW stuff.  I bought a paddle holster there for about $50 for my 4" 15-2.  They also  have one for a 6" DW I saw.

I have a Targua Paddle for my 4" 15-2 HB.

I'm very satisfied with it.

Also the Hunter 1100, #73 are DW15-2 specific.

I've got several of these and they are good to go.
