Do any of the big name Holster manufactures make holsters for DW any more? All you see on Gunbroker is nylon crap but I don't have the $ for a custom job. Or does anyone know what other model gun you could buy a holster and have it fit. I'd like to carry my 14 with a 2 1/2" barrel on it when the mood hits me or I know I'm going somewhere my J frame might need company.

Galco has a shoulder holster listed here, for 4 & 6" barrel DW Model 15 guns...same thing as Model 14.

I haven't looked elsewhere on the site for belt holsters, but magine they make that style also.

I have pasted a link here for Rusty Sherrick. He is an affordable custom holster maker and he makes a crossdraw for Dan wesson's. John Taffin even had one and reviewed it with a good review. I have one ordered right now.

Most any leather K/L frame holster shold work pretty well. If it has a retention strap, the strap may or may not fit that well, as the Dan Wesson Hammer is of considerably different shape than that on a Smith.
A little stretching of the strap, or tuck in behind the hammer instead of over usually works.
