I know this has probably come up 100 times. I did do a search but it had more to do with longer barrels.
Is anyone carrying or have you found a leather holster for 2.5" HV 15 (First Issue) or 15-2?

I Have a Simply Rugged Sourdough leather holster for my 14-2 with 2 1/2" barrel. They make holsters to order. I am too dumb to put a link here with my phone but you can google them they have a nice website.

So, did you buy one for a different model revolver, or did you tell him you have a Dan Wesson?

Generally, Colt Python and S&W K or L holsters are usually good for a DW Small frame, if memory serves me correctly.
But it is nice to see such a well regarded holster maker list the Dan's
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have been fabricating custom Kydex holsters since December of 2012. I have been a DW owner since 1980 and with the optional parts available from EWK and LB Custom Grips DWAS has firmly taken hold. The holster pictured is an outside the waistband holster with pancake style construction. Both front and back portions of the holster are vacuum formed on a curved radius to improve ergonomic feel of the holster. The holster is also formed with 1/3 of the firearm on the back side and 2/3 of the firearm on the front, which makes the holster feel more comfortable and holds the firearm very close to the body. The cant of the revolver in this holster is 5 degrees. Belt loop holes are located so that by moving the rear belt loop down a 10 degree cant will be achieved and by moving the front belt loop down a 0 degree cant can be utilized. Belt loop size on this holster is 1.5 inches. Retention is sufficient to keep the revolver in place in the holster and is easy enough to overcome with my draw stroke. I prefer to wear this holster in the OWB configuration during the colder months when it is easily covered with winter style clothing. The holster can be converted to an IWB configuration by removing the rigid belt loops on the inside of the holster and mounting flex belt loops to the outside of the holster. The IWB configuration is not a tuckable style holster. The entire holster and loaded firearm assembly weighs 2.5 pounds and is very comfortable to wear. Of course I am more than slightly partial to being able to wear a DW than a semi auto pistol.

Thanks. The reason I asked for more info is because it is pretty clear that this is a custom item. I stand in awe of your ability to do this, and be prepared for Members to start asking for a similar item.
Welcome to DWF.

Etrier, welcome to the forum, and that is a very nicely made holster, I too am very impressed. You been a Dan owner since 1980, you're familiar with EWK and LB's products, and you can fabricate a holster like that, man you belong here

Couldn't have said it better! And would you be willing to make one or some of these to share on here? I like the idea of convertible (like I like the Dan's for the same reason)!!
