Hello DW Fans.
I found it necessary to unload my safes to move them around. While unloading the handgun safe, my wife and I took an inventory and found something very disturbing. I only have 22 DW revolvers!!!! While it is the leading brand in the collection, I feel it should be much higher. Sadly, since I got married last year, I have been using my "gun fund" for more 'wife friendly' things like taking a lot of lengthy motorcycle trips with her. The other problem is the cost of all guns has gone crazy. Sadly, I may need to sell an extra motorcycle or some "off brand" revolvers to up my quota of DWs.
I know I'm bragging, but I love this DWAS I have and LOVE shooting them. So it's time to get the ammo out and go to the range tomorrow.

I had the same problem and so I focused from accumulating to collecting- I decided my DW "collection" would be a blued and stainless example of every caliber the Monson plant produced; one more to go. If anyone has a 708 or 709 from the Monson era, I'm interested.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
I need to thin the herd of those makes I was buying in the start of my journey. And pare down my excessive number of 15-2s. Fortunately, it is not a financial situation. I just don't have room. I have plans being moved ahead for a gun room addition. Once I unpack everything for the move I will cull the stuff I should never have bought. Of course, DW stuff is like savings deposits earning good interest like in the Carter years. My Spanish Handguns may have to be liquidated though. But even they have soared in value.
I have no motorcycles, boats, muscle cars, RVs, etc to sell though. Just my Bonsai and my wine. Fortunately, my wine is relatively young. A wine going over the hill is a very said thing.

My was very similar. When I hit 17, I realized it's what you get, not how many.
I decided to extend my 15-2 Pistol Pack, into a Super Pack, by acquiring matching Vented 10", 12" & 15" Barrel Assemblies. Then I started collecting samples of all the grip configurations.
Of course whenever I come across cool memorabilia or marketing items, like banners, cylinder pen holders, etc. I nab them up.
