Finally able to pick up my model 14(-1?), Serial 28,6XX. Knew it had some bluing issues on the front shroud, and it needed a cleaning when I brought it home, but all looked well for the most part till I realy started going over it. When pulling the hammer back very slowly I noticed that the cylinder doesn't rotate 100% to lock into place, usualy requires just a nudge and you hear it click.. Would that require a new hand or how would this problem be remedied?

Well an almost complete strip down (down have a barrel wrench yet to get the shroud off, and more importantly fix the HUGE gap), but thoroughly cleaned the internals which had some light gunk on them, and its 99% better. Double action its fixed, and standard cocking with the hammer works, but if i SLOWLY cock the hammer while lightly dragging my finger on the cylinder, it is just barely off. Close enough that I'm not worried to shoot it (once i get the cylinder gap closed up, my father has a 15-1 so I will borrow his wrench). But I will keep an eye out for a replacement hand (slight wear on the top it looks). Hopefully I can get that wrench and test it out next weekend.
