Your 14-2 was made around 1982 or 83. Normally 14-2s had a matte finish but some around your serial number had bright blue(polished). I can't tell from my phone what yours is. Serial number around 375,000 was when the serial numbers started with the caliber and the knurled hammer tang and improved sideplate appeared. That, was in 1986, so yours was made not long before that.

Thanks you! It's kind of an in-between finish. Matte finish on the top, but more like a satin blued on the sides and bottom. Again, thanks for the information. Been shooting revolvers since the 80s, but new to the Dan Wesson world. I've had revolvers in the past with B/C gaps over .012 and they would spit lead and powder out the sides, and you couldn't do much about it. So really like how I can set the gap to my favorite setting of .005! I love that about these revolvers! I'm about to buy a Supermag from a guy if we can work out a deal.
Thanks!
