I don't want to over spend.
Model 15 Monson made 15" 357. VH
Great condition BUT, in an area about the size of a penny just behind the front sight on the side of the shroud are 6-8 marks. If they were rusty I'd call them pits, but they're not pits just similar looking dings. Also it has been drilled and tapped for Buehler scope mount on the shroud.
Total package is, complete model 15 VH15, Monson made, factory grip, factory barrel wrench. Leupold 2x in Buehler mount. No box or paperwork. They're asking $1500.

I think they are asking more than they should be. I have one, with no pit marks and I would think $1000 would be stretching it.

The 15" BA in perfect condition would be worth 1500 plus. The D+T might be considered an improvement but only if you want it. It is hard to make a determination without seeing the defect on the shroud but half price is 750. The frame and tool are worth around 500. So, $1250 might be reasonable.

Not including your unicorn, there are 3 currently online that several of us are following. To a collector condition is everything. To a shooter, they will overlook some defects. With a gun attached, I would say Ole Dog is on the money @ $1250.
