Just installed my 8 inch Stainless Steel barrel on my new DW 715 tonight, I L O V E it ! Very Dirty Harry lookin (yes I know dirty harry had a 44mag) Every since I let a S&W 686 combat special 8 3/8 barrel .357mag slip through my hands I've wanted an 8" barrel revolver. I was waiting and waiting AND waiting on my new GLOCK G40 10mm to come in and gave up. If you can't produce it to sell it, don't advertise it ! Anyway I jumped ships and purchased the optional 8inch barrel before getting my new DW 715. Gutsy move, could not find one, almost got a DW Razorback RZ-10 instead. But I finally found a non-blem 715 for sale ................I've wanted a revolver like this for 20 years ! VERY happy with my purchase.

Nice choice of companions. Almost every time I go to the range with my Dan's, a Glock goes along as well. The recent favorite is the model 42, it holds a far better group than my model 23.
BTW, the 10" barrels on the DW's are really a treat

Great to hear from a satisfied "new" 715 owner!
No secret that I am not a fan of how CZ handles the marketing and development of the DW revolver brand, but it is good to know that the quality is still there.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well I hate Glocks. They just absolutely do not fit my hand. But I do have the Razorback in 10mm. Got my 15-2 pistol pack with a few extra goodies, including TWO 8" barrels. One with integral scope mount, one without.
However, if you like long........................

I have sold several Smiths to fund DW purchases. I held a Glock in 10MM a few years back and it felt like I was holding 2"x4" lumber in my hand, I really wanted a 10MM at the time and just could not get comfortable with the Glock. I will eventually get either a Razor Back or a Silver Back in 10MM or some older model 10MM DW, but being that they still make them I am in no hurry. I still have a 445 to add to the family, let one slip through my hands during hunting season.
So how do you like the 10MM Razor Back? Did you look at the Silver Back?
