A DW tool for Fixed Barrel guns? My first though was, WHY?

Although you are not removing a barrel nut, otherwise it makes sense. I just never considered that a FB needed this

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Still have side plate and grip screw and sight screw!    So I wonder if they were a fore or after thought!

That is very interesting-never saw one of those before! Most of made sense for the factory to just skip adding the insert then all the other needed functions would be covered with an existing tool.

Dan you guys (yes, I know, terrible pun lol)

Seeing as my first D.W. was a Palmer Mass 715-FB, I thought it might be cool to have this for my gun. Hell, for 10 bucks, I figured I would throw on a bid. I don't know how high it will go though.

Either way, a cool item to have, especially since I have a FB for it to go with.

I guess it would be nice to have for a fixed barrel.  Especially the small one to remove the front sight as I have a tendency to lose small things!

Only one of my FB's came to me in it's box, but that tool wasn't included. This is the first I've seen of one of these, too. It does make sense that they would include it though, since you still need to remove the other screws on the gun.

My 5" Model 44 Fixed Barrel was bought Brand New in the early 90's.  It did not come with a wrench that I recall.  I certainly don't have any wrenches like this which omit the barrel nut spanner.

One that we know of that didn't have a wrench!  Did it have hex wrenches for the side plate & sight?

Side Plate?  It's a .44 Magnum.  cool

No wrenches.  Rear sight is a flat bladed screw not a hex.  Front sight needs a hex obviously but not included.

The Manual was the same as the regular Large frame manual but the box included an additional orange card which warned that the barrel was fixed and don't try to remove it.
