Hello all, I am a newb that wants to purchase the "necessary" accessories for my newly purchased 15-2v. I am looking for a hip holster that is multipurpose for hunting and range work, speed loaders, and the pouch that carries the speed loaders. Also what mount would I need to mount a scope on this particular revolver? I know this is the wrong area to ask about reloading, but I was wondering if it makes more sence to purchase the 38 special dies that can also reload the .357 mags or to purchase them seperately. I have a Lee Turret press and will definately start reloading ASAP. Since the DW's are no longer in production it is hard to find stuff that will work w/ them...Thanks for the help.

I am at work but I have speed loaders, so they still sell ones that work, even says so on the package, it fits Smiffs as well.
Holsters.. I just go to guns shows and try them out... not a big problem. In fact i JUST bought a holster that works with my new EPC!
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.
4 Monson Model 15's
1 Palmer FB 15
1 Rossi 357 Model 92 (lever)
1 CZ 75B
As for scope mounts you have a couple of options. First is the clamp on style such as Burris or B-Square. The Burris is a much nice looking mount and seems more sturdy but you pay for that. If you can find one they are $60+.
Then you have the drill and tap mounts from Burris and Weigand.
As for reloading if you are going to load a lot of both it would probably save you some time and frustration by getting two sets to have one dedicated to 38 and the other to 357.
Hope this helps!

I use these speedloaders for all my model 12 and 15 DWs. I think it even works for 357 supermag (for some reason I never tried, but I don't see why not):
